RICH BOBBY’S THREE GOALS

Above all else, Rich Bobby aims to improve three major aspects of Huntley D158:

Enhance special education services and support.

• Allocate more resources for those with special educational needs.

• Ensure students with disabilities have a path to success from the LIGHT program: supported employment and day enrichment services.

Support teachers and parents with students who have behavioral needs.

• Improving communication between teachers and parents to understand students’ behavioral needs better.

• Ensure staffing resources and environmental supports are available for students with behavioral needs.

Ensure Huntley D158 is efficiently spending the community’s tax dollars.

• Maximize revenue opportunities: explore grants, Medicaid, and other sources of alternative funding.

• Reduce unnecessary spending.
